Folks - please give me an update - I just replaced my old Mac with a
new Intel machine running OS 10.5.1 - Leopard. What fonts do I need to
download now to read everybody's messages in Shaw Alphabet, and what
Web site to I need to go to for them?

While on the subject - Leopard, among numerous other cool features,
contains a dictionary whose pronunciation schemes include British
Received Pronunciation. So now if I want to emulate his late majesty
George V in my Shaw alphabet, it's just a matter of looking it up in
Dictionary.

Since as a North American speaker - Central-Western, fully rhotic,
father and bother rime exactly - I have the same regard for George V's
pronunciation as I have for George III's tea, I'm unlikely to change
the way I write in Shaw Alphabet, but it's nice to have this feature
available if I need it.

I just switched to Leopard myself when I got my new laptop. I remember there being some trouble with shaw fonts and macs in the past, but I know about as much about computers as a frog knows about the arctic.
