Dear David,
Thanks for your e-mail. I was able to see some of what you sent me, but,
as I think I mentioned, I can't read the Shavian alphabet in English, only
in Esperanto. (There are fewer sounds in Esperanto!)
If you send me your mail address, I'll send you an example of what I am
doing, with an English translation. (I couldn't read one of the words in
your return address on the envelope.)
I look forward to hearing from you!
Erik

More font mysteries;
or, difficulties beyond my abilities.
Frustrating to never quite understand
(or remember) the proper procedures
of font management.

It seems that some nice Shavian fonts are no longer available on
the Net. Of course the future belongs to the Unicode fonts, but
I also would like to play with e.g.
,----
| Philip Driscoll's free fonts for the Shavian alphabet: Shaw
| Britannia, ShawCurly, ShawRoman No1, Shaw Sans No1,
| Shaw Sans No2, Shaw Sans No3.
`----
which I cannot find in the Net.
Would anybody provide a link or otherwise make them available to
me (and possibly, to the community)?

I have placed them in the public domain. Use them however you wish.

Don't forget Ross Demeyre's font Androcles, which of all the
alternatives best resembles the typefont used for the bi-alphabetic
edition of 'Androcles and the Lion'.
